NATSAVE Bank and the National Health Insurance Management Authority (NHIMA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at enabling customers to make their NHIMA contributions using any electronic gadget through the e-NHIMA platform.

NATSAVE CEO Mr. Malcolm Chabala stated that the bank supports "the government's vision of empowering Zambians through financial inclusion" by partnering with organizations like SARO and SEED.

According to Mr. Chabala, the MOU will enable clients to remit contributions and transfer funds to NHIMA accounts using real-time gross settlement systems.

SARO Agro CEO Mr. Ashok Oza indicated that SARO will offer products tailored to Zambian conditions. SEED Cooperative Union Vice Chairperson Florence Banda noted that SEED aims to make cooperative information accessible to communities, with the cooperative movement becoming "the largest employer in Zambia."

The partnership combines NATSAVE's digital infrastructure with NHIMA's health insurance administration to advance financial inclusion across Zambia.
