Our Background
Zambia's National Savings and Credit Bank, serving families and businesses since 1972.
NATSAVE is a government-owned non-bank financial institution established in 1972 through an Act of Parliament. The institution operates under the National Savings and Credit Act, Chapter 423 of the Laws of Zambia, which authorises it to administer funds, accept deposits, operate saving schemes, make loans, and conduct banking business.
The organisation maintains 38 branches nationwide and serves as a partner with the government on agricultural programmes.
The bank manages substantial government transactions, including bulk handling of maize and crop purchasing programmes, as well as fertiliser subsidy distributions through the Ministry of Agriculture.
