NATSAVE Lands a Financing Deal of CAMCO Equipment Machinery

NATSAVE Bank and CAMCO Equipment Zambia have finalized a Memorandum of Understanding that enables NATSAVE to finance equipment purchases through a dedicated loan facility.

The signing ceremony drew attendance from Western Province Minister Honourable Kapelwa Mbangweta, along with Honourable Garry Nkhombo (Minister of Local Government) and Honourable Frank Tayali (Minister of Transport and Logistics).

According to NATSAVE CEO Malcolm Chabala, the bank offers a facility to individuals and enterprises to acquire equipment such as a walking tractor, plough, tractors, combine harvesters and sprayers, and related agricultural machinery. The CEO noted that NATSAVE operates three branches throughout the western region — Kalabo, Lukulu, and Mongu — focused on community-centered financial solutions.

Provincial Minister Kapelwa Mbangweta expressed satisfaction, indicating the initiative represents timely support for small and medium enterprises in the region. He emphasized the government's commitment to ensuring MSMEs gain access to reasonably-priced, customized financing options.

Attendees included Permanent Secretary Simomo Akapelwa, Mongu Mayor Nyambe Muyumbana, and various local government officials.
